Join us at The Debenham Lion from 18–20 September for our second annual Beer Festival: three days of great beer, cider, live music and good company.​

 

From Suffolk to Monaco

Explore 16+ ales, 8+ lagers and 4+ ciders, with local favourites alongside beers from across Britain and further afield. Look out for Chevallier’s Ludic Best, Ampersand’s Fresh Hop Ale 2026 and Verdant’s Beyond the Pale, plus Belgium’s Duvel and Blonde de Monaco from Brasserie de Monaco.

Whether you know your bitters from your blondes or simply fancy trying something new, there’s plenty to discover.​

 

Friday: the festival opens and you can meet the brewers

​​

The festival opens at 4pm on Friday. At 7pm Adnams, Chevallier Brewing Co. and Watts & Co. will be discussing how the brewing industry is changing on our brewer panel. Hear the stories behind the beers, put your questions to the people who make them and find your first favourite of the weekend.

Saturday: come hungry

​

Settle in for festival beers, live music and a menu made for the occasion:

• BBQ pulled pork baps with apple and fennel slaw

• Dirty fries with beef brisket, pink onions and cheese

• Buffalo hot wings with ranch dressing

• Jumbo butcher’s sausage with beer-braised onions

• Onion bhajis

Sunday: finish with a roast

​

Round off the weekend with another discovery from the beer selection and a proper Lion Sunday roast. Please book a table separately if you’re joining us for lunch.

£12 in advance or £15 on the door. Your ticket includes your festival glass and £5 of drink tokens. Food is purchased separately.
